WHO IS SOOYOON?
Sooyoon Hwang is a freelance creative director and content creator who strives to capture moments and deliver narratives through his creative process.
By connecting aspects of cinematography and other fields, Sooyoon aims to bring visual storytelling to screens, not only in the theatre, but on phones.
Sooyoon Hwang is a recent undergraduate student of the University of California, Irvine, who studied film and media. He graduated in June 2025, having successfully received his Bachelor’s degree in three years.
Sooyoon is a passionate storyteller with a deep love for sports and visual media. Combining his enthusiasm for athletics with his keen eye for narrative, he strives to bring compelling stories to life through various forms of media. Whether through writing, video production, or digital content creation, Sooyoon is dedicated to capturing the atmosphere, emotion, and human moments that make sports so captivating.
As someone who strived to play sports at the highest level, Sooyoon understands not only the flashy limelight moments but also the physical and psychological challenges athletes face during their careers, no matter what level.
In hopes of not only showing the world how sports can be life-changing but also shedding light on the human aspects of athletes at all levels, Sooyoon is excited to continue developing his skills and making an impact in the ever-evolving world of sports media.
